About Rulebook Review
I started Rulebook Review was established in 2014 with the goal to help improve the hobby board game world as a whole by providing a way for every game designer big or small to have professional editing services for their rulebook.
My inspiration? During a PnP contest on BoardGameGeek I decided to help out a few people with tips and ideas to make their games better. Along the way I noticed I had a serious talent for editing the rulebooks in particular. I was wondering what to do with this talent when I realized with so many games coming out from publishers and Kickstarter with terrible rulebooks I thought I could do something about it. I decided to ask the folks on BoardGameGeek what they thought of the idea of a blog and service dedicated to JUST the rulebooks of games. the response was overwhelmingly positive. So with some encouragement from my wife I started Rulebook Review, recruited Susan to help the cause, and the rest as they say is history...

About The Writers
Meet Susan, he is our fluffy friend and mascot! As a mustache Susan has a vast array of knowledge related to board games and their rulebooks.
When Susan isn't engaged in the hobby game world, he can be found enjoying a warm face or possibly sampling a personal culinary favorite: chocolate cake. A mustache that prefers to be wild, free, and bushy, he has also been seen frolicking with rabbits, riding them dramatically into sunsets.

Just call me Capps! I'm originally from Baraboo, Wisconsin. I moved to my current home in
Missouri to be with my wife! Since moving we had a beautiful daughter
Ayla who joined our cat and tarantula to make our happy little
family.
I've been gaming since I was rather young. I had Gillian Barre Syndrome just before starting the third grade, and when I couldn't play sports and run around like I used to I found writing and gaming. For writing, I won a few awards back in the day and was published in a few anthologies.
For gaming, I dove in head first. I started with video games, my favorite being my first Wild ARMs. I still enjoy video games, but my fingers being damaged as well it's hard to keep up. Fortunately I found the world of hobby games and I've had a minor obsession ever since.
